Having just returned to freezing NYC, I'm already missing the warm North Carolina sunshine! Annette is a fantastic host, giving us great recommendations of places to visit whilst making us feel very at home in the lovely Creekside cottage. It's a beautifully furnished little house which sits happily amongst the trees. Waking up each day to that brilliant sunshine, under a soft down duvet and going to bed having stared at the stars sitting on the balcony, or in the hot tub, was magical.

We have just returned to the UK after staying at the cottage for three weeks (September 2006), and we could’nt have stayed at a more welcoming or beautiful place. After a good day out sightseeing, there was nothing better than relaxing with a glass of wine, watching the variety of birds, and as dusk fell the fireflies. Weather in September was just right for a dip in the pool and a laze in the Hot Tub afterwards. [what a life] Shall be back. Well done Annette

Barry and I have just returned from this spectacular home and loved every minute (we were there in June 2006). Annette made us feel so welcome and we felt able to relax and chill out totally in our log cabin. Sitting in the peace and tranquility, sipping wine, watching the birds, never seen before, splashing in the pool, and visiting many places of interest made this a holiday to remember always. We are still talking about the hummingbirds and still aching from the walk to Hanging Rock!!! There are many lovely restaurants within a short drive, a great Mall if you like shopping and the farmers market is a must to visit. If you get a chance to go, it's a must, North Carolina and Annette’s beautiful home have so much to offer.
